Scara’ Ngobese confirmed yesterday that he is slowly recovering from his bout with TB. The talented former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder confirmed that, “I am taking my medication and I am taking my pills.”Ngobese confirmed that he has started light training with his team Thanda Royal Zulu adding, “I still have a year and a half left on my contract (with Thanda) and whatever happens I am going to take it like a man.”The medical staff from Thanda also confirmed that ‘Scara’ was working on his fitness in order to start challenging for a place in the team. On the basis of his team’s performance against Orlando Pirates on Sunday Thanda will be hoping that ‘Scara’ returns soon.

Ertugral forgives Tsotetsi

Kaizer Chiefs coach, Muhsin Ertugral has told the Mzeke10(media) that defender Mokete Tsotetsi has been forgiven for the costly mistake he committed when Chiefs lost to Golden Arrows in the Telkom Knockout last Saturday. The former Jomo Cosmos defender headed home- into his own net- Arrows’ second goal, on the 22nd minute of the game. This got the Amakhosi critics mischievously suggesting that Ertugral might unknowingly have the solution for his goal-scoring problem in Tsotetsi…only if he was played in the ‘right position’, upfront!Speaking to the Siya crew earlier today Ertugral told the Mzeke10(media) that he understood what had happened and that he didn’t hold any grudges against the defender. “I have been a coach for many years now and I understand such things. It’s not about individuals. Kaizer Chiefs U20 development side will be looking at bouncing back to their winning ways this afternoon when they take on their counterparts, Amathole Football Academy this afternoon in the SAFA Soweto U20 Premier League. The game will kick off on Friday afternoon at 17h00 at Hyundai Park Stadium in Soweto.
The U20 side under the tutelage of Kaizer Chiefs legend, Donald “Ace” Khuse were knocked out of the Phillips Cup last weekend by Jomo Cosmos on penalties.
“We have been using mostly players who are playing in our U17 team as some of the players are busy preparing for exams. I am confident though of a win this afternoon against Amathole Football Academy” said Ace Khuse.
Meanwhile Kaizer Chiefs Head of Development, Walter Steenbok has revealed to kaizerchiefs.com that trials to identify U15, U16, and U17 players will continue this on Sunday starting at 09H00
